Aberdeen

Another day’s walking yesterday. Aberdeen is a grey and cosy town, very clean and modern, yet with a lot of old and rather beautiful buildings.
We had afternoon tea at Littlewoods before commencing our long walk to the old parts of town, checking out the university buildings and a couple of cathedrals. We found our way to the river Don at a place where it was very calm and narrow. The sun made the water glitter and it was quite beautiful. I took some photos which I hope will turn out well.
Otherwise most of yesterday was spent checking out the usual stores. Didn’t buy anything.
The hostel was okay, though one of our room mates went to bed at 18.30, so we couldn’t sit and talk in our room.
