Berkeley webcasts feat. Howard Rheingold, Seth Gitner and others

The Winter New Media Lecture Series, a US Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, Knight New Media Center and Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation initiative, will be webcast live at Berkeley’s site December 10-13. The lecture series is part of a week-long multimedia training workshop for mid-career journalists at Berkeley. It sounds like it’ll be worth tuning in, though unfortunately the webcast requires quicktime which is a bit of a bummer.
Here’s the schedule:

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 10
3:00 – 4:15 p.m. – “Building the Multimedia Newsroom”
• Joe Howry, Bruce McLean, Colleen Casem, Tom Kisken, Ventura County Star

MONDAY, DECEMBER 11
12:30 – 1:30 p.m. – “Smart Mobs”
• Howard Rheingold, “Smart Mobs” author

7:45 – 9:00 p.m. – “Approaches to Multimedia Storytelling”
• Robert Hood, msnbc.com
• Travis Fox, Washington Post

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 12
12:30 – 1:30 p.m. – “Multimedia Storytelling From Start to Finish”
• Seth Gitner, Roanoke Times

7:45 – 9:00 p.m. – “News Site Interfaces and User Experience”
• Seth Familian, UC Berkeley Haas School of Business

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 13
1:30 – 2:30 – “Online Business Models 2.0”
• Al Bonner, Lawrence.com

It doesn’t say what timezone that is, but Berkeley is in PST, so for Swedes that should be +9 hours, meaning today’s webcast starts at midnight. For those of us who needs to be asleep at night, an on demand version of the webcasts will be available later on.

Unfortunately, I was not able to listen to/watch any of the programs live, but recall that the sessions would be available on the web. Can they be viewed at this point?

    my thanks,
