Eurovision Short Skirt Competition
Since I’m still ill I’ve spent the evening watching the Swedish finals for the Eurovision Song Contest. 10 songs and artists had been picked in local contests, and now they were to perform once more in Stockholm Globe Arena to see who’d become Sweden’s representative in the European finals in Riga.
It seemed that the contestants also were competing about who could show the most skin. The skirts were short. Super-short. I think the winner in that category was Jill Johnson. K sure thought she was a winner when he saw her outfit. :) Me, I preferred Afrodite, but that’s mostly because I like Blossom.
A group called Fame won. Junk. A non-interesting, non-committing, everyday song. And the group was boring too. But then, the wrong song is always supposed to win, so I guess it’s okay.
I’ve been learning a lot about RSS today. I don’t know how long I struggled to get the asp code for my rss file to work, before I realized that the code from 4guysfromrolla was erroneous. They had forgotten the extra & that’s needed to code a > into a > in their code example. I sent them an email of course.
Hopefully it’s working now. My blog/reload/whatever this page is is now registered with blogs.unmade.com, sweblogs.com, blo.gs and weblogs.com. Hi and very welcome, any new readers from those sites.
That’s all for tonight. My head is pounding and I still have a fever. It sucks. I don’t have the energy to go home tonight. Hopefully the cats will be okay.
