An Oxford Street Church book cafe

Right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street there’s a small church with a book cafe. At the entrance there’s a shop selling xmas cards for charity, and further in is the cafe and the church hall. Hymns and organ music is playing and at little tables little ladies are sitting, gossiping in low voices. You are transferred far away from the commerce outside, into what might have been early 20th century English countryside if it wasn’t for the modern look of the church and the modern lights in the cafe.
I am having soup and bap for £2.50. I couldn’t have found a better place for a light lunch, some rest and a peaceful atmosphere to write this note in.
