More on vlogging for beginners
I was wondering what software to use, since I’ve already realised Windows Movie Maker has a lot of limitations, and won’t really do what I want. I found this great article which explains in an easy way which software to use on your platform depending on budget and need.
Also, I surfed some blogging sites, mainly to find out where to ping in order to get some viewers. But I found a lot of other great stuff.
videoblogging.info has a good beginner’s guide.
We are the media seems to be a good resource for grassroot video journalism, vlogging news etc.
Media tuner provides an RSS Aggregator/Player for rich media, meaning images, audio and video.
At Videoblogging Universe you can create a vlogroll to display on your site. They also have a directory.
vlogmap has teamed a vlogging directory with google maps. A neat way to surf the world for vloggers – and you can add your own. (there are two Stockholm vloggers, both on Södermalm. Hey! I’m the first in a Stockholm suburb :) )
vlogdir.com is a directory of vloggers.
Mefeedia is another place to ping, though he site is ugly.
At blip.tv you can set up a video blog, or they can host your clips.
If you know of other vlogging links I should check out, please add a comment.
