Sunday morning at People’s Square Garden

Sleepless in Shanghai. But if it hadn’t been for that I would have missed the experience of this morning’s walk in People’s Square Garden. Tai chi and other forms of exercise, the umbrellas from the Marriage Market left unguarded on the ground (this is where grannies meet and try to find a match for their granddaughters and grandsons) and a man who was really into birds and wanted to show me his photos.
Otherwise I am still very much offline, but I do have access to my blog.

I met a man eager to show me his quite stunning photos of birds. We didn't understand a word of eachothers languages, but managed to communicate quite okey anyway.

The Shanghai Marriage Market. Every Saturday and Sunday matches are made here, primarily by grandmothers who want to find a suitable spouse for their grandchildren.
