On vacation

Ah.. it finally came. Vacation. Four weeks to form just the way I want to. Well… almost. :-)

I had a â€?dateâ€? with U. last Friday. We watched tv, hugged and connected to Sklommon in the Östermalm apt where he is currently residing. Felt good.
I do love him.

Yesterday we had dinner at India Lord and watched a couple of movies at Ping’s place. Or rather, atleast Ping and I did – Uffe left at midnight.
Ninth Gate – so and so.. I’m not really into that kind of movies – and Arlington Road which I liked because they managed to keep the suspense to the unexpected end.

Earlier in the day I had met Tiina and two of her friends at NK where they looked at sunglasses at Mulberry. Then we strolled to Kungsan where there was an American festival – American food, sherifs’ offices, ppl in cowboy hats and stuff like that. We sat talking in the sun for a while, watching the opening of the Bridge to Denmark (BIG thing here) on a big screen tv sponsored by Aftonbladet and some other companies.

I’m doing pretty well with my new diet. I’ve only stepped out of line two times – yesterday when I had an icecream at Ping’s (though he said it was light so I guess that’s okay) and today morning when I found some of the almond cake still left in the fridge.

I woke up at 14.30 today, which felt rather bizarre. I don’t know if I’ve ever slept later than that. And I’m still a little sleepy. I guess I had a lot of catching up to do.

Today I’m going to work on the asp pages for the OPK calendar of events. Eventually I will turn it into both a palm and a wap service too. Should be pretty cool. :-)

One’s-self I sing, a simple separate person,
Yet utter the word Democratic, the word En-Masse.
Of physiology from top to toe I sing,
Not physiognomy alone nor brain alone is worthy for the
   Muse,
I say the Form complete is worthier far,
The Female equally with the Male I sing.
Of Life immense in passion, pulse, and power,
Cheerful, for freest action form’d under the laws divine,
The Modern Man I sing.

– Walt Whitman, â€?One’s-self I singâ€?
