Picking walnuts
Picking walnuts is tricky. You scan the ground but the nuts’ covers are the same color as the leaves turning brown. Some of them have escaped their cover though, and lay exposed, nougatty brown.
To go to Krumlov to write a book might not be a bad idea. Food is cheap, the hostels are cheap, and after a while there’s not much to do here. You can rent a bike and sit in the countryside or perhaps in the English bookshop. It’s a thought.
